Why is it that we must be taken to the very edge of a situation to wake up and realise we need to make a change, before it’s too late?
In this episode, I open up about two life-changing wake-up calls - one that nearly ended my marriage and another that resulted in a trip in an ambulance.
I share the lessons these moments taught me about the importance of consciously choosing how to move forward – because let’s face, most of the time we walk around on autopilot.
Also, what if we could have the clarity of thought to make changes before it’s too late?
I’ll guide you through a powerful coaching exercise to help you reflect on your own work-life and set a new course for tomorrow or the next 5 years. Today, I am your coach ❤️.

Philippa climbs mountains, swims in the wild and consistently pushes her comfort zone both personally and professionally, even when her heart pumps a little faster! She’s incredibly humble about her achievements, but her drive to expand her comfort zone is infectious – so much so, that I’ve agreed to go wild swimming too!
Phillipa chairs the CIPD branch in Cumbria as a volunteer - and her volunteering doesn’t stop there, she’s a triathlon coach too! A genuine champion of others and by day she’s in HR Advice, Policy and Change Management for Cumberland Council.
If you’ve been putting off a “thing” in your personal or professional life, and you’re unsure how to start or feel apprehensive, this conversation with Phillipa will inspire you to act.

Gemma Hogan and I worked together back in 2017. She is a force to be reckoned with and it was fab to hear about all the changes she's made to both her personal and professional life since then.
Originally an HR Director, Gemma took the plunge and is now running her own coaching business.
What I loved about our conversation is that Gemma doesn't let anything get in the way of her ambitions.
We discuss what is means to be resilient during those transitions and how to bounce back from failure and thrive in challenging times.
We had a candid conversation about the momentous moments that shaped her, and the practical tools she uses to help others break through their own barriers.
• Discover how Gemma transformed early feelings of not fitting in into a thriving career and how you can do the same.
• Learn practical strategies for managing energy, setting boundaries, and avoiding burnout as you pursue your goals.
• Hear real-life stories about overcoming imposter syndrome, embracing creativity, and building a life you love.

This is a real crowd pleaser. anyone who has been to our house will have had this recipe.
It's great for optimising your health, energy and time: a luxurious chilli with a twist. It's super easy and rich in flavour.
The last time I made this for the fam, was on Boxing Day. We'd been paddleboarding in the mist and rain on Lake Windermere, so was ideal to come back to.
I love my big slow cooker too. It means I can feed a large group or use the leftovers for freezer meals.
Enjoy.
